Epic Financial Care is a financial planning practice dedicated to providing independent financial advice to meet the financial goals and objectives for a wide variety of private and corporate clients. The company is directly authorised and regulated by The Financial Services Authority.

Epic principal Tim Kirkby has over 30 years experience in the financial services sector, having held a number of senior and management positions with leading insurance companies. Tim has run an IFA practice for over 25 years and is acutely aware of the importance of maintaining the integrity of clients through a professional, personal and confidential service.

Financial planning consultant Chris Slocombe joined Epic in January 2012. After graduating from Huddersfield University in 1999 Chris has gained over 12 years experience in the financial services industry working for a number of leading insurance companies and banks providing regulated advice across a wide cross section of professional and private customers.

The business has an emphasis toward retirement planning through a regional network of clients and referrals with numerous wealth planning issues requiring investment, pension and tax planning solutions to subsidise income in retirement and plan for maintaining a suitable lifestyle through structured estate planning schemes to lock in value, growth and security.

We maintain a number of long standing reciprocal business relationships with accountancy and legal practices, both to advise clients introduced to our business and retain specialist backup on more complex tax, trust and estate planning matters.

Our commitment to a personal and professional service is complemented by significant investment in IT systems and client research tools, which enables a clear and definitive set of principles to be established from which to move forward into the advisory process.
